SJVN Ltd had participated in the Tariff based competitive Bidding process of RUMSL and bagged the full quoted capacity of 90 MW (Unit-F) Floating Solar Project @ 3.26/Unit on Build Own and Operate basis through e-RA conducted on 06.05.2022. The power purchase agreement shall be executed after issuance of LOI from RUMSL. The Floating Solar Project (FSP) Project shall be developed by Company at the Omkareshwar Reservoir, Madhya Pradesh through EPC contract. Tentative cost of Construction / Development of this project is 585 Cr. The project is expected to generate 218.54 's in the 1St year and the cumulative energy generation over a period of 25 years would be about 5157.91 MU's. As per RfS the Project shall be commissioned in a period of 15 Months from the date of signing of PPA i.e by December 2023. The PPA shall be signed between RUMSL and SJVN for 25 years. This is SJVN's second and first largest FSP bagged through Tariff based competitive Bidding process in India's largest floating solar park at Omkareshwar in District Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. The commissioning of this Project is expected to reduce 2,52,737 Tonnes of carbon emission and would contribute in Gol mission ofreduction in carbon emission. This project will assist the Company in achieving its ambitious shared vision of 5000 MW by 2023, 25000 MW by 2030 and 50000 MW by 2040 and simultaneously contribute towards RE capacity addition target of 500 GW by 2030 set by Government of India. Shares of SJVN Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 28.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 28.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 937120 in over 2887 trades. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 28.65 and intraday low of 27.60. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 26354165.00.
